Building on a four-month interactive Film Club, the initiative culminates in an expansive October festival featuring a diverse lineup of international and local films, hands-on workshops, and dedicated children’s activities across multiple venues. By pairing thought-provoking screenings with open, participatory discussions led by artists and activists, this project transforms film into an accessible, democratic tool for positive change. It’s far more than just watching movies—it’s an inspiring open forum that empowers communities, ignites meaningful dialogue on pressing climate and ecological issues, and drives collective action toward a fairer, greener future for the Maltese islands.
