Computational Thinking Malta (CTM) is a dynamic volunteer-powered NGO launched in 2024 by University of Malta academics with a mission to make computational thinking fun inclusive and accessible for every student in Malta. From cracking puzzles to building skills like problem solving and pattern recognition CTM is all about empowering the next generation of thinkers no matter their background. In its first year CTM brought the global Bebras Challenge to Malta engaging nearly 3000 students across 48 schools and building a growing community of educators and partners.
Now CTM is gearing up to go even bigger. The 2025 26 Bebras Challenge will run over 12 exciting weeks aiming to reach 6000 students aged 6 to 18. This project is more than a challenge. It builds confidence, sharpens thinking skills and gives students meaningful insights, while making digital learning inclusive and accessible.
