Inspire Foundation

Interactive whiteboards to boost confidence, skills, and smiles at Inspire! Thanks to support from The Melita Foundation, Inspire is equipping its Learning in Context (LinC) classrooms with interactive whiteboards to make learning more engaging, inclusive and fun for 45 amazing children aged 5 to 11 – many on the autism spectrum.

These children face big challenges in mainstream education, but the LinC Day School Programme gives them a safe, tailored environment to thrive, learn life skills, and rebuild confidence.

The whiteboards will help bring lessons to life with movement, colour, and interactivity, turning learning into a multi-sensory experience. Kids will boost their communication, social skills, and independence with the help of tech and caring tutors. Some even go on to return to mainstream school! With 4 whiteboards funded already, this project is aiming to complete all 10 – giving every LinC student the digital tools they deserve to shine.

Making a difference together

Since starting in 2020, The Melita Foundation has backed many projects run by different groups and backgrounds. From local STEM skills for school kids in the Three Cities to global stuff like planting trees, ESG awareness, teaching maritime law and conservation and ensuring our heritage is well taken care of.
